Add-on prices with Shopify Markets: what to check
If you use Markets with price adjustments (for example -5% in Canada), the product price changes per market, but an options app's fixed add-on amount may not. In our test (one Canada order), the product was market-adjusted while the fixed add-on fee stayed the same. Treat this as one observation, not a rule.
What to check
- Place a test order in each market you sell to, with a paid option.
- Compare the add-on amount with what you intended (adjusted or not).
- If your markets use their own currency, check how your options app converts add-on fees.
